About Mimi
Dr. Mimi Guarneri is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease, Internal Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, and Integrative Holistic Medicine. She founded and leads The Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine, and serves on the Founding Board of the American Board of Physician Specialties in Integrative Medicine. She is a Clinical Associate Professor at UC San Diego and has been recognized by the Bravewell Collaborative for leadership in Integrative Medicine, which named her to its leadership network. After graduating first in her SUNY class, she began at Scripps Clinic in interventional cardiology, where she placed thousands of coronary stents. She then founded the Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine and served as Medical Director for 15 years, integrating imaging, prevention, and lifestyle programs. In 2014, she co-founded Guarneri Integrative Health, Inc., and has advised large healthcare systems on integrative medicine and wellness centers.
