What you will learn

  • Course Summary

  • Increasing rates of childhood behavioral issues, cognitive delays, sensory disorders, asthma, allergy, and other physical health disorders have significantly spiked over the last two decades. New clinical and research information heavily suggests that environmental toxins, poor nutritional status, and hormonal imbalance in both the mother and father prior to a baby’s conception contribute to these outcomes. Altering this trend requires attention towards reducing environmental toxic burden, enhancing key nutrient levels, and advising specific herbal blends to tonify the uterus and improve sperm quality. This lecture guides the practitioner as to how to implement a preconception program in their practice and advocate on health topics distinctly aimed at improving healthier baby outcomes. The practitioner will acquire information on clinical research, lab tests available, and targeted nutrient and herbal therapy to enhance conception and reduce risk of future health issues for a child.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

    • Utilize a comprehensive preconception health directive with patients to improve healthier human outcomes
    • Discuss health concerns and cite evidence of the ill effects on fetus and baby from specific environmental toxins and poor nutritional status
    • Explain relevant clinical and research data supporting the benefits of preconception detox programs

Course includes:

  • Video recording
  • Downloadable audio
  • Speaker handout(s)
  • 1 Quiz
