What you will learn

  • Course Summary

  • Our Center has had success treating autoimmune diseases. The prevalence of autoimmune conditions has risen to >100 diagnostic categories and affects > 50 million patients in the US, showing no trend of slowing down…..Autoimmune Disease is detailed. The etiology is poorly understood. It is well known that our environment is continuously interacting and affecting the health and integrity of our microbiome and the 75% of our immune tissue lining our gut. The connection between environmental factors as triggers for immune imbalance and the incidence of autoimmune disease has been unraveling in the scientific community. Cited in this presentation is how to screen for the triggers for AI disease, recognize the constellation of symptoms commonly presented by patients, as well as understand the physiology involved in the cytokines, leukotrienes, and immune IgG mediated Delayed Hypersensitivity response. Finally, a discussion of a method to properly test, diagnose and successfully treat Autoimmune Disease is detailed.
By the end of this course, learners will be able to:

    • Describe the diagnosis, effective testing, expected course timelines and patient outcomes of Autoimmune Disease
