Healing Chronic Physical and Emotional Pain
This course will review the basis of Chiropractic medicine and Mind-Body medicine with its application to development of the Emotional Trauma Release Technique. Course faculty will highlight Applied Kinesiology techniques. as well as other cover epigenetics and psycho-neuro-immunology.

By the end of this course, learners will be able to:
- Recognize when a patient needs to be assessed for neuro-musculoskeletal interference.
- Explain the implication that the startle reflex has on storing trauma in the body.
- Integrate into their treatments the basic breathing techniques that neutralize the effects of the startle reflex, namely shock and emotional trauma.
- Develop strategies for patients to eliminate daily stress from their lives.

About JEFFREY
Dr. Benton, has devoted years to studying how to switch on the body’s internal self-correcting programs, in order to enable patients
to access their optimal health potential. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology in 1990 and his doctorate in Chiropractic in 1996. He developed The Emotional Trauma Release Technique™ in 2001 which quickly releases stuck physical and emotional trauma. Dr. Benton has had the honor of lecturing both locally and nationally at many prestigious institutions and conferences, including the Bioregenesis Conference, USC TMJ Pain Management Clinic, and the Academy of Comprehensive Integrative Medicine. Dr. Benton was named one of Los Angeles’s Top Chiropractors in 2018 by Los Angeles Magazine.
