Course Outline

Meet Your Faculty

Latha Chandran, MD, MPH

Latha Chandran is the Executive Dean and the Bernard J Fogel Founding Chair of the Department of Medical Education at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. She has many years of experience working in medical school administrative roles. She served as the Vice Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs for over a decade at Stony Brook University in New York before moving to Miami. Her areas of interest include Educational Scholarship, Faculty Development, Professional Identity Formation and Diversity Equity and Inclusion. Dr Chandran is the Past President of the Academic Pediatric Association and currently serves as the Vice Chair of the National Board of Medical Examiners.
