Course Description

Autoimmune diseases are rising at an alarming rate, with growing evidence linking environmental toxins to immune system dysfunction. This course explores the epidemiology of autoimmune disease and the role of endocrine-disrupting chemicals, heavy metals, industrial pollutants, and other environmental toxins in triggering and exacerbating immune-mediated disorders.

Participants will examine cellular mechanisms of toxin exposure, including molecular mimicry, chronic inflammation, and gut microbiome disruption. The course also reviews both conventional and integrative strategies for mitigating toxic exposures, supporting detoxification pathways, and improving patient outcomes through evidence-based interventions.
