Course Description

The heart is more than just a pump—it is a sophisticated organ that communicates with the brain, influences emotional well-being, and plays a central role in long-term health. This course explores the emerging field of neurocardiology, detailing the intricate bi-directional communication between the heart and brain and its profound effects on mental, emotional, and physiological health.

Participants will review scientific research linking emotions, stress, and cardiovascular health, including the impact of heart rate variability (HRV), stress hormones, and self-regulation techniques on disease risk and overall well-being. The session will also cover evidence-based approaches such as meditation, gratitude practices, and heart-centered techniques that support self-regulation and cardiovascular resilience.
